The Golden Globe Awards, presented by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, were awarded for the 75th time this year.
Presented by comedian Seth Meyers, the best of cinema and television were awarded. "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri" won best picture for drama, while "Lady Bird", directed by Greta Gerwig, embraced the award for comedy.
In the Best Foreign Film category, Fatih Akin's film "In The Fade" won the award.
Oprah Winfrey, who was awarded the Cecil B. DeMille' Honorary Award, gave an impressive speech. Referring to the hollywood harassment scandals, Winfrey said, "All the women who watched this show today should know that a new day awaits us. From now on, no one will have to say 'me too'."
