Welcome the New Year

Experts recommend paying attention to your diet throughout the day before sitting at the Christmas table. Contrary to general behavior, skipping meals throughout the day, sitting at the Christmas table on an open stomach should be avoided. During the day you can consume a light vegetable dish, fruits in between.  Dietitian Emine Kaptanoglu emphasizes that the dishes selected for a conscious Christmas table should be boiled, baked or grilled, not fried. Appetizers with olive oil and yogurt recommend avoiding oily intermediate temperatures, baking turkey in the oven and opting for bulgur rice with a low glycemic index instead of mashed potatoes or rice rice with a high glycemic index as a side dish.  Avoiding the consumption of carbonated beverages and drinking buttermilk, water and soda is another tip... Drinking plenty of water and hiking the day after New Year's Eve will also keep you fit. If you are not allergic, you can also consider the recipe of 'metabolization accelerator soup' recommended by Dietitian Emine Kaptanoğlu on the first day of the new year...
