Kim Kardashian has revealed she had her hips injected.
Contrary to popular belief, the 35-year-old star said she had the procedure done not for aesthetics but to treat psoriasis.
Kardashian, who made the announcement live on her website, first noticed spots on her mother Kris Jenner's leg and then consulted a doctor to find out she had psoriasis.
Kardashian said she had a cortisone injection every few years for treatment, denying rumours that she had a 'hip implant'. Kardashian clarified after treatment that the needle marks on her hip were not for aesthetics.
What is psoriasis?
Psoriasis, which is manifested by rashes that cause mother-of-pearl-white dandruff on red-colored backgrounds, is especially seen in areas such as knee, elbow and scalp. Experts say the biggest trigger for this disease is hereditary, as well as stress and distress.
