Italian designer Giorgio Armani has announced that he will no longer use real animal fur in his designs. From the 2016-17 Autumn-Winter collection, the famous brand will not use real fur in its designs.
"With the development of technology, the creation of alternatives instead of real fur has been paved the way. Therefore, we will not be involved in this process of animal cruelty. As a company, we will take care to protect the environment and animal rights."
Armani first announced in 2009 that it would remove the fur from its designs. However, peta asked celebrities to boycott the brand after it broke that promise from its collections.
Hugo Boss, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger and Ralph Lauren are also brands that don't include real fur in their collections.
