Michael Kors and Jimmy Choo quit fur

Michael Kors and his in-house Jimm Choo announced the launch of a fur-free period in their collection.

Kors promises to remove real animal fur from collections completely by December 2018 and artificial alternatives will be used.

Michael Kors was criticized by animal rights activists for his designs. During a recent live interview, he was protested by PETA with the words"Michael Kors has blood on his hands."

Kors will present her first fur-free collection at new York Fashion Week next year, WWD reported. Just before Michael Kors and Jimmy Choo, Gucci joined the 'fur-free high fashion' movement.
