The #GucciHallucination series, consisting of nine sweatshirts and nine T-shirts, features dream-like digital artworks from Monreal's Spring-Summer 2018 campaign.
In order to emphasize the uniqueness of the products, illustrated T-shirt designs were limited to 200 pieces each and sweatshirt designs were limited to only 100 pieces each. Each product has a number on its label and is delivered to the buyer and is also presented in a package adorned with works from the artist's hands.
Monreal, who formed a creative connection with Creative Director Alessandro Michele and Gucci thanks to the #GucciGram project where they first crossed paths in 2015; It reveals a style that coincides with Gucci's eclectic vision with the surreal aesthetic it creates digitally, blending the Pre-Rafael Brotherhood and De Chirico in a contemporary way. One of his works was exhibited in Milan as part of the Gucci Art Walls and in New York as part of the launch of the Gucci Bloom perfume. The artist recently signed works that found his place in the Spring-Summer 2018 campaign, and in the ironic video of the campaign, he starred as the curator of the fictional Gucci gallery.
