How to perform parental control on iPhone and iPad

  •  Go to Settings and tap Screen to the Surah.
  • Tap resume, then select" this is my [device] "or" this is my child's [device]".
  • If you are a parent or guardian and want to prevent another family member from changing your settings, tap Use Screen Time Password to create a password. Then confirm by re-entering the password.
  • If you are setting screen time on your child's device, follow the prompts and enter a password until you reach the parent password section. Confirm by re-entering the password. 
  • Tap content and Privacy Restrictions. If prompted, enter your password, then open content and Privacy.
  • Make sure that you select a different password than the one you used to unlock your device. To change or turn off the password on your child's device, tap Settings > screen time > [your child's name]. Then, tap Change Screen Time Password or Turn Off Screen Time Password, and verify the change with Your Face ID, Touch ID, or device password.
     

  • You can also prevent your child from installing or deleting apps, making in-app purchases, and more. to block purchases and downloads from iTunes and the App Store:
  • Go to Settings and tap Screen to the Surah. 
  • Tap content and Privacy Restrictions. Enter your password if prompted.
  • tap iTunes and App Store purchases.
  • Select a setting and set it to deny.
  • You can also change your password settings for additional purchases from iTunes and the App Store or October store. Follow steps 1-3, then select Always decommissioned or never decommissioned.

You can limit the use of built-in applications and features. The application or features that you close are not deleted, they are only temporarily removed from your home screen. For example, if you close the Mail application, it will not appear on your home screen until it opens again.


To change allowed applications:
* Go to Settings > screen time.
* Tap content and Privacy Restrictions.
* Enter your screen time password. 
* Tap allowed apps. 
* Select the applications you want to allow.


You can also prevent music from playing with inappropriate content and movies or TV shows with certain ratings. Apps also have ratings that can be adjusted by content limitations.

To limit inappropriate content and content ratings:
* Go to Settings and tap Screen Time.
* Tap content and Privacy Restrictions, then tap content limitation.
* Under allowed Store content, select the desired option for each feature or setting.
Content types that you can limit include:
* Rating: select that country or region in the ratings section to automatically apply the appropriate content ratings for a specific country or region
* Music, podcasts, News: prevent music, video clips, podcasts, and news from being played or played with inappropriate content
* Music profile and post: prevent what you are listening to from being shared with your friends and what your friends are listening to from appearing
* Movies: block movies with certain ratings.
* TV shows: block TV shows with certain ratings.
* Books: block content with certain ratings.
* Apps: block apps with certain ratings.


iOS can restrict access to adult content in Safari and in apps on your device by automatically filtering website content. You can also add certain websites to the approved or blocked list, or limit access to only approved websites. Follow these steps:
* Go to Settings > screen time.
* Tap content and Privacy Restrictions and enter your screen time password. 
* Tap content limitation and Web content.
* Select unlimited access, Limit Adult websites, and only allowed websites. 
Depending on the type of access you allow, you may need to add information, such as the website, that you want to limit.

 


To limit Siri properties: 
* Go to Settings and tap Screen Time.
* Tap content and Privacy Restrictions, then tap content limitation.
* Scroll down to Siri and select your settings.
You can limit the following Siri features: 
* Web Search Content: prevent Siri from searching the web when you ask a question.Dec. Dec.
* Inappropriate language: prevent Siri from displaying inappropriate expressions.


 


To limit Game Center features:
* Go to Settings and tap Screen Time.
* Tap content and Privacy Restrictions, then tap content limitation.
* Scroll down and go to Game Center, then select your settings.
You can limit the following Game Center features:
* Multiplayer games:block multiplayer gaming.
* Add friends: block the Add Friends feature in the Game Center.
* Screen Recording: block the ability to take a picture of the screen and capture audio.


The privacy settings on your device allow you to control which applications can access information stored on your device or the hardware features of the device. For example, you can allow a social networking app to request to use the camera so that you can take and upload photos.
To allow changes to privacy settings:
* Go to Settings and tap Screen Time.
* Tap content and Privacy Restrictions. Enter your password if prompted.
* Tap Privacy, then select the settings you want to limit.
You can limit the following:
* Location Services: lock settings that allow applications and websites to use the location.
* Contacts: prevent applications from accessing your contacts
* Calendar: prevent applications from accessing your calendar.
* Reminders: prevent applications from accessing your reminders.
* Photos: prevent apps from requesting access to your photos
* Share location: lock location sharing settings in Messages and Find My Friends apps..
* Bluetooth sharing: prevent devices and applications from sharing data via Bluetooth.
* Microphone: prevent applications from requesting access to your microphone.
* Speech recognition: prevent applications from accessing speech recognition or dictation.
* Ad: prevent changes to Ad Settings.
* Media and Apple Music: prevent apps from accessing your photos, videos, or music library.


You can also allow changes to other settings and features in the same way that you allow changes to privacy settings.
* Go to Settings and tap Screen Time.
* Tap content and Privacy Restrictions. Enter your password if prompted.
• Under Allow Changes, select the properties or settings you want to allow changes to, and select Allow or deny. 

Here are some features and settings that you can allow changes to:
Password Changes: Prevent changes to your password
Account Changes: Prevent changes to accounts and passwords settings
Cellular Data Changes: Prevent changes to cellular data settings
Sound Limit: Prevent changes to volume settings for a secure listening experience
Do Not Disturb While Driving: Prevent changes to do Not Disturb While Driving settings
* TV provider: Prevent changes to TV provider settings
* Background Practice Activities: Prevent changes to the settings that determine whether to run the application in the background.
