How to make cold tomato soup Gazpacho?

  • 1 kg fresh, ripe tomatoes in season (peeled, seeds separated, diced)
  • 1 cup (200 ml) cold water or tomato juice
  •  1 large cucumber (separated kernels)
  • 1 large red pepper (kernels cleaned)
  • 1 large green pepper or 2-3 village peppers (kernels cleaned
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Half cup of tea (50 ml) olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar or lemon juice
  • 2-3 sprigs of edible basil
  • 1 slice toasted bread

  • All ingredients are filled in a blender and drawn until they reach the desired consistency. If smooth consistency is desired, it is drawn much, if light parts are desired, less.
  • The prepared soup should be refrigerated for 1 hour.
  • Garnish with different side dishes (such as basil leaves, parsley, chilli pieces) while serving.     ​​​​​​​
