The new era begins with Raf Simons! Simons, who recently took over Calvin Klein and is the brand's creative director, launched the "American Classics" campaign.
Campaign images photographed by Willy Vanderperre feature iconic pieces of Calvin Klein. The products, which they call American classics such as blue jeans, white cotton T-shirts and men's underwear, are presented alongside works by famous US artists such as Andy Warhol, Sterling Ruby, Richard Prince and Dan Flavin. The products in the campaign, which Simons described on Instagram as "a celebration of Calvin Klein's iconic lingerie and jeans," are seen as part of popular culture.
This new campaign isn't the first time calvin klein has changed its logo. Raf Simons' fashion show, which will introduce the women's collection at New York Fashion Week, which begins today, is among the highly anticipated.
